Level of Consciousness Testing Protocol

Level of Consciousness testing protocols as defined by Dr. David Hawkins

The Level of Consciousness scale was created by Dr. David Hawkins when he realized that although the energy of Consciousness is infinite, specific levels correlate with the levels of human consciousness. Every mental state, from the lowest levels of guilt ( LOC 30 ) and shame ( LOC 20 ) all the way too the mental state of Enlightenment ( LOC 600+ ), have a corresponding Level of Consciousness ( LOC ) associated with it.

Level of Consciousness Testing Protocol

The testing phrase my be in the form of a statement. The statement my be answerable with a yes or no response.

  • The enviroment should be neutral with no music playing.
  • Before the statment is tested it must be qualified.
    "I have permission to ask about what I am holding in mind." ( yes / no )
  • To qualify if you have permission to test, the tester then makes the following statement, the tester says "resist" to the test subject who is holding their arm parallel to the ground. The tester then applies a mild force down on the arm. If you get permission to test, the arm will remain strong. The response is very short and immediate.
If you get permission to test the statement, proceed:
  • If the statement is qualified, the tester then makes the statement, the tester says "resist" to the test subject who is holding their arm parallel to the ground.   • If the statement tests false and an answer is still desired, the statement may need to be reformulated.

e.g. "Jesus had a level of consciousness over 600"
"The Roman Catholic Church currently has a level of consciousness over 600."
"The Buddha has a level of consciousness over 600."

Self Testing or Self-Calibration

This method is simple and reliable after a while of practice. Follow the same proceedure as above.

Hold thumb and forefinger together to make a circle. Make same loop with other. The loops should be interlocking.

Ask your question and gently pull.

If you feel resistance then the statement you are testing is True. If the ring easily breaks, it indicates that the statement is not True and there is no Power. Your Body Doesn't Lie identifies many muscles than can be used as indicators since your entire body responds to the flow of energy.

Verify your answers against known LOC's or against standard arm test.

Self testing is more subtle and requires more practice. I like to pay attention to the amount of pressure between my thumb and fore-finger. If the pressure increases, then you may be trying to justify a positionality.

That a good opportunity to think about what you are actually trying to accomplish.

I also seem to get better results when I add something I picked up from Lou. I like to also say,
"I don't care what the answer is as long as it's True."

When kinesiology breaks down, it's often because we are attempting to use it to justify a belief.
